After sustaining a 10 point lead going into the 4th quarter, North Laurel had to fight off a scrappy Doss Dragons squad. North Laurel was the only mountain team to win on the night. They were lead by point guard Nick Shannon who netted 23 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. For the second straight game, Doss was led in scoring by Cameron Clemons with 21 points to go with 5 assists.

This was also in the consolation bracket, which means they lost in their first game. So all mountain teams lost in the first round.

Clay Co. plays Perry Central, and the winner gets North Laurel. So 2 mountain teams will be playing each other on Saturday.
