Blake Bundy is allowed to play basketball ball this year. He was told and released to play today. The doc said he better wait til Monday to start back. And yes my facts are true so don't think I'm stupid. I was told by his mother!
Glad to hear it! I wish B. Bundy a speedy recovery and all the best!
GREAT NEWS!! Yes take it easy Blake till Monday and make sure all the kinks are out of ya. Wow thought it was over for him, Just great news! :letsparty
Very strange events surrounding this. I am very glad that he is back but he has pretty much went from "traction" to playing again in less than a week! Sounds like the Tiger fans should get the whole story before posting. On the bright side all the thoughts and prayers on here must have worked!!

Well for one thing the family doc. is the one who said his ball career is over and today he went and saw a back specialist and he said he can play. But take it easy and start on monday. Theres the right story from what ive been told by his mom and other peopel who have talked to her.:letsparty  :letsparty :letsparty
Thats some really good news for the Tigers, not very good news for the Tigers opponents though... Hope he finishes the season in style.
Well evidently they looked @ the MRI results and found that instead of a herniation it was a bad sprain. Like mashing a "spring"... you know how it is, the coil might stay mashed for a while, but will eventually un-coil itself.... well, that's sorta-kinda what happened! ( you know, sometimes doctors will give the worst case scenarios just to be on the safe side...LOL... not that it's funny at all, but it does seem that way sometimes) I know we all said a whole lot of prayers for him! Take it easy big guy and don't rush yourself, but it indeed takes off the pressure! Play for the pure love of the game and enjoy yourself! Step up and lead... I love those assists & I can't wait to see you back out there! We'll still keep you in our prayers... just so we can be on the "safe side"!

And who syas prayers don't work? Congrats Blake and take it easy for awhile. We are just glad you are ok and are excited to get to watch you again this season. You are still in our prayers to remain healthy through out. Go Tigers!
I would like a short description of this guy so I can figure out who he is?.. lol.. And yea my prayers are with him also, I hope he is ok. I'm trying to figure out who he is and it's eating me alive..lol
If this is true, then it is great news!!
This is great news. Glad to see he is going to play ball again.
Glad Blake will be back in action....I'm guessing that everyone has looked and took into consideration about what happens to him if he takes another fall or hits on his back? Hope everything goes well for him but, he has alot more down the road.

I don't know about that aspect of it for certain, but I can't see an orthopedic surgeon releasing him to play without discussing all of that thoroughly with the parents and the kid. I understand what you're saying though.
Glad to hear Blake will be okay. But even if he is allowed to play I think it would be wise on the coaches part to rest him for maybe a week or two and let his back get strong so this doesn't happen again. They wouldn't want to go into tourney play without him. Plus if something does happen again it could knock him out of playing on the next level. Good luck Blake can't wait to see you playing again.

I dont think he should be too worried about playing on the next level....anyway...

Im glad that the original thread about him not being able to play again is false. Great to hear that he CAN play this year, BUT, if Blake reads this site, I would like him to consider that if this type of injury can happen once, it can, and almost certainly will, rear its ugly head again. I advise him to take a long hard time thinking about his future, not just as a high school basketball player, but as a soon to be college student, and surely a professional at something other then basketball.
Considering that Kentucky plays Louisville tomorrow and the fact that I have watched both teams play this year. Young Bundy's return is by far the best news I have or will hear all week. Good Luck Blake with your return. The Tigers I am sure are glad to have you back.
