Pretty sad that a tourney with 32 teams so close to Lexington with teams from all over state gets so little coverage from the Lexington Herald. The seemed to be only concerned with the Lexington Catholic Tourney as is usually the case. For some reason they cater to the Private Schools and their programs in Football, Basketball, and Baseball..... $$$$ could be a reason... hmmm

The Berea Tourney is a very nice tourney and well ran at that. The sad thing is nobody covered it from the Herald Leader and there were many good games that people across the state would have been interested to know about. Guess funds for gas are tight?????

If it were a boys tourney I bet it would have been covered. Same thing different year.

Agreed...Berea HC used to be great for getting exposure, but since the Lex-Cath started, you'd never know the BHC was going on.

Sad thing is the Berea Tourney was around before the Catholic tourney due to Greg Todd starting it up when he was at Berea. When he moved on to Catholic he started the one that is now at Lex Cath.
