I know it’s a long ways away, but has it been decided if the 15th region baseball tournament will be ran in the “super region” format similar to how the basketball tournament was? I like that it gives teams in tougher districts another chance to play their way in and doesn’t just automatically reward teams with an automatic trip to final 8 just because they play in a weak district.

The 58th will benefit from this when it past years Lawrence Co, Floyd Central and Prestonsburg could shock some folks in the super region.

I believe pitching could become an issue with a super regional in baseball.

It should. Baseball coaches should be made to develop pitchers.
