I really hope Cov Cath has a solid defensive game plan. This is JC's time of year and them being the underdog on the road just plays into their hand.

Well, I'm going to pull for Johnson Central to make the upset. I really like Jesse Pecks defense and how he blitzes and when he has a healthy team, he may have upset of the week. AS 64SUR says,

I like and respect Johnson Central. I think they've had a good year and have maybe over achieved to this point. I would love to see them win this game. I think this could be the closest of the four 4A games. I give the slight edge to Covington Catholic, but it pains me to do so.

This may be the best match up in the state this week. Hard to pick one over the other. Ashland put up some solid rushing numbers on Cov Cath. I think JC has the better defense. I think JC pulls the upset on the road.

Just like in the ashland game, there’s only one SEC commit in the game, and nobody else can really stop him. If the games close, they will go to willie, and Jc doesn’t have a guy to match up. They will be tough enough to keep it close, but Willie is a man amongst boys.

The question is can JC defend CC’s pass. JC will do well against the run. Unless they change it up and use the DL to put pressure on the QB. If they do it might disrupt the pass but then JC might lose containment on the run. CC’s offense is impressive on paper. I dont think CC can stop JC’s run. JC has to keep the ball for long sustained drives and try to slow down CC. Hope to get the ball last.

I honestly think cov cath is just as good or better than Corbin. I don’t see them losing to JC

I would love to see Jc win this one but Cov Cath is a really good team. JC will give it everything they got but they just aren’t healthy. Carter Conley was banged up last game, Logan Music has been banged up all season, Logan Morrow who has been a great fullback gets hurt against Boyd County. The one bright spot was Dalton Matney stepping up and having a huge game at both linebacker and fullback.

I’ll say Cov Cath 28-14.

Cov Cath is the better team and the 3 hr. drive from Paintsville to Covington plays in Cov Cath favor.

The ground and pound game JC executed against Ashland was carried out to perfection. However, if Ashland's defense had stopped the JC offense a few times then JC would've had to get out of their comfort zone to try and keep up with the Ashland offense and the game would've tilted the other way. Cov Cath is very similar to Ashland but their defense is better. In my opinion Cov Cath will be able to stop the ground and pound enough to tilt the game their way.   CC 35  JC 21
