Ok. I’m a Perry guy that’s obvious. But I want your alls opinion. Yea we all know Corbin is the 1 by far and that’s not debateable, but who do you all think is the 2nd best team in that district? Perry, Whitley and letcher are all good teams and it’s gonna be a battle . Who y’all

Honestly, I think it is between Perry and Whitley.
I do not think Letcher is as good as Perry or Whitley but I think Letcher is capable of beating either of the two.
Too close to tell for me between Perry and Whitley though.

And that may be the deciding factor honestly. Winning at Letcher can be hard.
I would still take Perry over Letcher at Letcher and I would take Perry over Whitley at Perry.

Yea Boyle district. So it’s gonna be a short run for whoever is the 2,3,4 lol. But still be cool to get the 2 and host a home playoff game.

2011 Perry lost at southwestern in rd 1 and 2013 lost at Pulaski in round 1. Still can’t find where they hosted a home playoff game
I think perry gets the #2 and will most likely play Wayne co or Lincoln co in the first round of play off.
They hosted Clay County and lost before those two games as well.

2011 Perry County Central was 5A. They were undefeated and so was Rockcastle when they meet at PCC week 6 both teams were 5-0 Rock won that matchup in a mud bowl 22-0. PCC only lost one other game during regular season against Harlan. Finished 8-2 hosted South Laurel at home an won 46-13 before losing in the second round at Southwestern by only a score of 26-21. PCC finished a solid 9-3.

I’ve heard Perry is hard to beat at home. Wasn’t impressed overall with LCC last year. They had 3 or 4 really good players but overall team wise, they were about what you see everywhere, avg or a little above.
