As much as I would like to think this would be a good game I don’t see how it can be to me I think Corbin’s defense will shut down anything Johnson Central can do hope it’s a good game and injury free but I think Corbin wins convincingly

I really like Johnson Central. They know what they do best and so does everyone else. Yet they still line up and dare you to stop them and most opponents can't. Last season they came to Campbell Field and gave the Hounds all they wanted and more. Every single time it looked like Corbin was on the verge of putting the game away, Central responded. Corbin better not take this game lightly. They need to come out and deliver the knockout punch early and not let the Eagles hang around. Those who are predicting running clocks are out of your minds. JC is a good football team, a dangerous football team.

Will the Eagles be able to run the ball against Corbin's stout defensive line? That's the defining question. I think they will enjoy a modicum of success in that regard, maybe enough, even, to put up a couple of scores. Will the Eagles be able to hold the Hounds to less than two scores in order to score a prized upset. That is probably unlikely. I look for the Hounds to score four or five times, as I think they will start opening up the offense a bit.

A score of 35 -14 in Corbin's favor seems about right to me but there could be a touchdown swing either way. If the Hounds don't allow Central much success on the ground it could get out of hand to the tune of 42-7. If, however, Central can run the ball and eat up the clock with some time-consuming drives, it could be a 28-21 type of game. I'll stick with 35-14 Corbin but if Central is going three and out on the first couple of drives, it's gonna be a long night for the Eagles.

This has the potential to be a lot closer game than most people think….

I really believe Corbin has the best defensive team in the state and will be surprised if central scores against the hounds………Anyone if welcome to remind me late Friday night

I don’t think JC can score at all on this defense, but i also don’t think corbin can put up much on the JC defense. A running clock would be surprising because unless there’s some non-offensive touchdowns i don’t think the corbin firepower will be too explosive for JC. I’m predicting 28-7 where corbin standouts as the better team. Maybe even 150 yards for JC which would be the first time in a long time.

If Belfry put up 48 and beat JC by 28, on what planet does anyone think this will be a close game?? JC has 4 terrible wins, 1 bad loss, and a L to Pikeville.

Is Johnson Central back to full strength and gotten their injured players back?

They have some back but I think some are still out.

I don't think Johnson Central can slow Elam down if Corbin opens the passing game up.

What I was thinking when I posted, if JC is at full strength it’ll make a difference from what I’ve read on here they’ve not had the whole team healthy all year, could potentially make November interesting….
