Covington Catholic will be a tough out for any team in 4A. They were dominated by Frederick Douglass last season but their defense kept them in the game until halftime. In contrast, Boyle County's defense looked like a herd of deer caught in the headlights of a busy freeway. Covington Catholic returns more of its players than BC does. Considering the players that BC picked up through the transfer protocol, a BC vs. Covington Catholic will probably be a very good, competitive game.
IMO Cov Catholic is the best team in 4A not named Boyle Co.

Plantmanky, I like Covington Catholic, I just dont think they beat Boyle or Corbin. But I'll do you this much, if they do, I'll buy you two guys lunch and I'll eat crow while I feed you two a good meal. Hows that. I do like there team. Like there coach and I would dread to play them on there turf and thats sounding more and more like a possibility as I think about it.

I think St Henry starting football will hurt Beechwood more than CCH.

I guess the word "IN MY OPINION" does matter? Those are my opinion not yours lol but we shall see. As far as student- athletes leaving Cov Cath to go to St. Henry, why would anyone go to little ol 1A where the competition is at 4A/ 5A? Unless it's a kid that doesn't like or won't compete. Oh BTW, I am not a Cov Cath fan, but I do love seeing them beat mountain schools like JC.
