I’m expecting a competitive game this coming Friday at The Penn in MtWashington. Beechwood is the first of 3 …Wheelersburg, Bishop Hartley being the others difficult out of conference games for the Rockets to start the season. McNick is relatively young with many Sophomore and Junior starters but has looked good in two scrimmage wins over Taylor and last night in a real game scrimmage v. Madeira in which they lead 41-7 at halftime. If you plan on attending you will find a well mannered and welcoming fan base and a beautiful facility. Parking fills up fast at the school parking lot and there are limited spaces beside the stadium which will likely be filled hours before with tailgaters. It’s best to park at the Guardian Angels School lot across Beechmont Ave or behind the Presbyterian church right beside McNick which has ample space and is a 2-3 minute walk from the stadium..I usually park here since it’s the easiest exit from the game at conclusion. Looking forward to welcoming Beechwood and expect a good game.
