Bowling Green hangs in early and then pulls away in the second half. Adopted purple should be happy. His purples get the Bluebirds next week.

Could not be happier. Bowling green had 5 turnovers in the first half and still led 14 to 13 at haftime. B.G. shut them down in the second half. I can't wait until next week!

BG will have to play a much cleaner game next week to have a chance at the upset. Highlands is loaded with talent again this season.

Congrats Purples!!!
Since the pre-season, people have been predicting a BG/HHS showdown for the new 5A championship, and now we will all get what we have been waiting for.
Tough break for Owensboro, a proud program who fell just short against a very talented Purple's team, best of luck in 08, though we all know O'Boro will be ready to reload once again.
