In the past two games, Detroit had SIX (6!!) total yards rushing (I think it was an NFL record for the fewest rushing yards in two games). This week, they had 79 rush yards in the first quarter against the Packers who have given up the ninth fewest yards per-game in the NFL at 96.7.

I thought I had some football knowledge, but I have no idea what's going on, could someone please explain how this is happening?
The Lions are playing pretty good defense so far. They're consistenly rushing the ball for around 5 yards a carry, and the Packers defense is getting winded from these long drives.
