UK and Coach Gillispie still have yet to agree to the terms of a contract with the Coach running the basketball program based on a "Memorandum of Understanding Offer." When will this contract be signed!?! Not that it really matters, I'm sure it will eventually.

Not a big deal, but its one of the headlines on espn.com.

I merged the two threads about this topic.
Mitch Just said on the pregame show that there is a signed Memorandum but that the lawyers couldn't come to an agreement on the contract. So its all done.
I had no clue you could be coaching anywhere without a contract, seems like a big deal to me.
Well, the Memorandum is a contract so to speak. It outlines all of the terms of the contract such as pay, bonus, and such. The big problem is what is considered a "reasonable" cause for UK to fire Gillispie without paying him more money. The Coach's lawyer says that UK's conditions are too broad and he wants exact situations (such as Tubby had).
