Boyd 21 Lewis 0 Halftime
I noticed before the season that 2 of Boyd's best young players from last year were not on the roster at the start of the season. One was a sophomore and their strongest lineman. Before the game today, I checked their roster on KHSAA website and there he was now on the roster. He didn't play tonight in the first quarter. He came in the second quarter and played at nose guard the rest of the quarter. He's #64 Jacob VerCrouse. The other player (Collins) was a freshman last year and their leading rusher. Tonight, I noticed him on the Boyd sideline in a gray t-shirt and blue jeans and carrying water bottles to the players. What gives ? Their leading rusher last year to water boy this year.
