In baseball any outcome is possible. Not sure it is one of the worst losses in program history because I respect Pikeville too much to make that claim but this one is a head scratcher. Learn and move on. Good luck Panthers.

Pikeville beat Johnson Central 2-1 last night. Soph pitched 3 innings, then 2 freshmen threw 2 each. Pitchers have given up 9 hits and 2 ER in last 4 games (All-A tourney + last night) and struck out about 40 with 8-10 walks. 4 big games in a row coming up, pitching will continue to be tested. They all throw hard and have pretty good breaking stuff.
Pikeville showing that even without some returning players, they aren't going to lie down in the region. Impressive.
