Pikeville escapes a late Comet run to advance to the Semifinals and improve to 19-1 on the year.
PHS led by as many as 14 in the 2nd half, but West Carter did not go away quietly.
A key 3 from Kyera Thornsbury late & a pair of FTs from Kristen Whited gave Pikeville just enough to get the W.

Pikeville will take on Owensboro Catholic Saturday at 1:30 in the Semifinals.
