I agree Mr. Holcomb definately is more than deserving, but I wouldn't say he is the only one in all classes statewide. We have some good coaches doing great things in all the classes this peticular year. Again, I am more than impressed with what Mr. Holcomb has done in what seems like an instant. Well done Coach!!

Didn’t say other coaches aren’t doing great things; just stating that no other coach has made the changes and effecting a turnaround at this level, this year. I watched Madison Southern beat the brakes off Central at Richmond just a short while ago….

French has done a remarkable job at Mboro;
Barker at West Carter seems to be moving that program into permanent relevance; Champlin has jumped some nice hurdles at East Carter….. lots of good coaches doing good things.

Back to the thread topic ?????Madison Central will win this game.

Jason Foley seems to be a good young coach.

Not sure who will win but you better not make a mistake in this game.  It will be the fastest game played on Friday night as Madison Central and PLD are the #2 and #3 rushing teams in 6A.  There will be limited possessions.  I think it will be a very close game like their first meeting.  I'm going with the Dogs in an upset.  This game seems eerily familiar to last years match up between PLD and Bryan Station.  Hot team with a new coach with a big first year turnaround vs Dunbar who just hasn't done much to cause you to pick them.

The Fighting Hensley's defeat the Bulldogs 28-7.
