NEW YORK -- Mets pitcher Tom Glavine declined his $13 million option with New York on Friday, making himself eligible for free agency.

The 41-year-old lefty, who got his 300th win this year, gets a $3 million buyout in addition to his $7.5 million salary this year.

Come back to the Braves "old man." As a Brave fan I've missed Tom Glavine, he is one of the better pitchers the Braves have ever had and wouldn't mind seeing him back in Atlanta.
Yes,it would be good to see him back in a braves Uniform.
Im hoping he makes his way back to atlanta also. He lives in the area, and actually thought about coming back to the braves in 06 but they never offered. Hopefully they will pick him up, they need pitching. With Hampton coming back, along with Smoltz and Hudson, Glavine would be a great addition.
