SK QB is a good player, but their defense can’t stop a nose bleed.
Simon Kenton's lone win, last Friday, was over a bad 4A Connersville, Indiana team.
They gave up an average of 50 points in their four losses.
SK, in the past, has relied on a high powered offense to cover for an adequate, at best defense. That formula hasn't worked out very well in the last three years, and this will be a two win season for the Pioneers.
I think we'll see a running clock before halftime.

I really liked our defensive play the last game..... I was very proud of our Team! I look for the offense to get to 35 as quickly as possible.

Our D should be hungry!! Having a week off, they should be flying around out there! But I’d still be surprised if we held SK to 0. That’s including the subs, if we get up early. Probably high 40s to 14. We seem to put to the brakes on when we hit that 40 margin. More clock control

They run a fast paced, no huddle offense, that can score a few points, but it also puts their bad defense right back on the field.
They scored a couple times on Beechwood’s 1st team D, but the 3rd was on the backups.
Beechwood scored at will, never punted. Corbin may give up a few TDs, but they will score a bundle.

I honestly think our defense is looking for the challenge right now, I'm like Hound, it wouldn't surprise me if our defense shut out Simon Kenton. This will be a good test for our pass defense. Either way, I'm with you based on the scores, they must not have a very good defense, they have been torched. I look for Corbin to let the gas peddle stick in this one. Throttle stuck wide open! Not everyone was a fan of the chrome helmets…they also think the boys need to be dressed exactly the same even same color socks and cleats. I see the logic as far as looking like a team and I agree but I think different variations of the uniform as long as the kids are wearing them correctly are a good thing too.
