Pike County just announced they are shutting down until September 6.   There will be no NTI days during this time.  Will all sports be shut down too during this time?

If sports are shutdown in the county, i guess the Belfry vs Lexington Christian game would be off. Maybe Pikeville could invite Lexington Christian up for a Pike County Bowl game this weekend.

Belfry doesn't want any part of LCA this season.

Be interesting to see how they go at this. But I’d assume sports are still on as planned or they’d said it when they made this announcement. We shall see though

Hate to see these kids forfeit.

They met today at 3 regarding sports I believe.

What impact has the Teachers Union ever had in Pike county. Have they made a decision on sports?  You need to get your certification and become Superintendent and make all the right decisions. Blame The China virus for all this. See I’m a Trump guy.

I do believe football will be played in Pike county on Friday night. It makes no sense how you close one and not the other but it’s what it is.

It makes perfect sense to me. Plenty of people love to shut the classrooms down. Hardly anyone loves to shut sports down.

School is shut down because not enough staff to operate. To many in quarantine. They are shutting down for a week. Back to school in the 7th. So I assume sports will go on. Just a staffing issue
