It's all about him...

The Examiner reports that DeSantis’s office “made a direct” plea to Trump to postpone his rally, only to be rebuffed. According to a source, “The governor is getting tested here as to how far he’s going to be pushed before he breaks ranks with President Trump. And he has to be very careful because this is Trump country.”

Joe Biden: 50+ year track record of narcissism ,  racism,  sexism , and several other "isms;" all while collecting a government check for his corrupt "public service."   Yet, the socialists on BGR loves this guy.  Says a lot.
Whether the reports are true or not, Trump should have offered to postpone or move his event out of respect for DeSantis and the family members of the victims. That offer should have been extended unilaterally and not in response to a request by DeSantis. Republicans cannot afford to lose Florida over a political turf battle and Pensacola or Panama City would have been good alternatives to Sarasota.

I hope that if Trump decides to run in 2024, he runs a cleaner primary campaign than he ran in 2016. DeSantis would be a substantial upgrade to Mike Pence on a Trump ticket and if Trump does not run, DeSantis will be the strongest candidate in the field. (IMO, DeSantis will be the strongest candidate in the field whether Trump runs or not but Trump will be a formidable candidate if he chooses to run because he earned a second term in 2020.)

Until Joe Biden visits the disaster that he created along our southern border and does something to fix it, he should steer clear of all disaster sites. If Biden cannot be bothered to fix a disaster that he alone created, then he should not be adding to other disasters by creating distractions.

Welfare King, I would stay away from the track if I were you. Trump would beat Biden or Harris in a fair election like a rented mule. Most normal people will realize that fact following the completion of several forensic audits.

Quooter you still don't understand your King is all about the King that it's no matter what the situation or disaster he ends up making it about himself. After the last 5 years you still haven't learned that Damm if you ain't slow.

Welfare King, what you don't understand that people who create businesses in this country are heroes. The provide jobs for people who want to work. China Joe has been a crooked politician for five decades and you and your socialist amigos are obsessed with seeing our government destroy Donald Trump. You may not take advantage of the opportunities that people like Trump create for American citizens but most Americans do. Trump is popular because he is not a career politician. You people are sick for ignoring a real criminal in the White House and being a cheerleader for Evil.

Quooter you don't understand businesses don't create jobs it's the consumer Damm if you ain't slow. It's a consumer driven economy at least 75 or 80% the rest is government spending. DA take the consumer out of the picture what you got.

You are a consumer of other people's money, Welfare King. How many people do you employ? How many paychecks (not counting those that you receive for not working) do you sign every two weeks? It would be pointless of me to ask how many payroll checks you have signed in your lifetime or how many people have you ever employed. It would also be pointless to ask you how many courses in economics have you taken in college.

Your post shows a total ignorance of how a capitalist economy works. The only thing that is true in your post is that consumer spending does fuel job growth but only a complete dumbass would dismiss the role that entrepreneurs and others who risk their own wealth to meet consumer demand plays in the economy. Only a complete dumbass would disregard the fact that businesses are often founded on the assumption that they can create a demand for new products. Consumers did not know that they needed radio before Marconi (or Tesla) invented it. People did not know that they needed alternating current before Tesla developed it and entrepreneurs like George Westinghouse proved its commercial viability. There is no consumer if there are no products to consume.

Consumers take little risk when they purchase a product. Businesses take a considerable risk when they decide what products will be in demand in the future or assume that they can create demand for products that do not already exist through advertising.

It is morons like you who think that big businesses should be punished with high corporate taxes and ignore the fact that taxes and other costs are passed through to consumers. When businesses are unable to pass all costs to consumers and make a reasonable profit, they go out of business. Left wing policies are job killers.
I have given this issue more thought and decided that I have no issue with Trump holding his rally in Sarasota as scheduled. I asked myself if I would be upset with Trump if I had a friend or family member missing in the rubble of the collapsed building and the answer was no, not at all. This country has been through a rough 18 months, including the cancellation of many traditional celebrations such as July 4th fireworks shows. If the disaster had occurred closer to Sarasota, it would be different but the distance is sufficient that recovery operations will not be impacted by Trump's rally at all. Those who complain that the rally is disrespectful will be Democrats and RINOs trying to score political points.

Gov. DeSantis' office has denied that the governor requested that Trump postpone his rally. The statement was reported by Tampa-St. Petersburg TV Channel 10. This is another nothing story spread by Democrats.

The real story is Biden's visit to the site of the collapsed Condo after refusing the visit the disaster that he created with the flood of illegal aliens at the southern border. I hope that Biden gets booed during his visits and drops his index cards. Better yet would be a power outage that takes out his teleprompter.

Your response makes no sense, Welfare King. You obviously do not understand the "rented mule" simile. If Democrats were eager to see Trump run again, they would not be spending millions to manufacture charges against him. Democrats are scared to death at the prospect of running against Trump again in a fair election, as evidenced by the obsession that the four BGR socialists have with Trump.
^^ If there were a power outage disrupting the feed to his teleprompter he could thank his own party for it. The weak power grid is directly attributable to all the generating plants which have been shut down because as Obama said--- "It's just that (operating coal fired plants) will bankrupt them." Them, as in the plant owners. As with everything associated with the transformation, what they cannot push through Congress they regulate out of existence.

No matter what Trump does or does not do, or says; he will be excoriated for it. The left have banked the entirety of their composition on being anti Trump. So much so that they have extended the lunacy to overshadow everybody other than themselves, in the entire country, as being defiled idiots. Absolutely everything they have said, are saying, or will say is wrapped up in their being anti-Trump. From the faked Russia collusion story, to his supposedly being Putin's puppet, to using his supposed racial bias to justify the riots and CRT, to the sham impeachments, to saying he was solely responsible for the pandemic. To the reported attempt of a weaponless overthrow of the Federal Government.

And now of course, he has been thrust back into central casting in the collapse of a building which was known to have as many ownership issues as it had structural issues. If they lose any point with Trump: such as in the SC upholding the Arizona voting law. Or should election fraud prove to be founded to any appreciable degree. Or if Fauci's funding ties to the Wuhan lab can be established. Etc. They are thrown into a panic.

The Democrat Party should be paying you for spewing those lies, Welfare King, but that might make you ineligible for your monthly "benefits."
