Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have even more consequences. While the Biden administration proposes shrinking the size of our military, the Chinese Communist Party is expanding its nuclear capability and modernizing its forces.

The media mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist government touted the country’s “urgent” goal to expand its arsenal of long-range nuclear missiles in anticipation of an “intense showdown” with the US.

“As the US strategic containment of China has increasingly intensified, I would like to remind again that we have plenty of urgent tasks, but among the most important ones is to rapidly increase the number of commissioned nuclear warheads, and the DF-41s, the strategic missiles that are capable to strike long-range and have high-survivability, in the Chinese arsenal,” wrote Hu Xijian, the editor of the Global Times.

“The number of China’s nuclear warheads must reach the quantity that makes US elites shiver should they entertain the idea of engaging in a military confrontation with China,” he said in the opinion piece.

“On this basis, we can calmly and actively manage divergences with Washington to avoid a minor incident sparking a war. US hostility toward China is burning. We must use our strength, and consequences that Washington cannot afford to bear if it takes risky moves, to keep them sober,” Hu wrote, adding that Beijing must be ready for the “intense showdown.”

As the mainstream, corporate media scrambles to catch up to the reality of the so-called "Wuhan Lab Leak Theory" this week, it would be informative for us all to take a step back and look at the reality of this issue with clear heads and sober minds.

Yes, this is a journalistic scandal, no doubt about it.

The fact that the lead New York Times reporter covering the virus and pandemic openly opined on social media that the "lab leak" story is at its roots racist tells us everything we need to know about the startling lack of curiosity for the past year and a half over the origins of the virus that has crippled the world's economy and been responsible for the death of untold millions.

After deleting the "Wuhan leak story is racist" tweet, Apoorva Mandavilli provided a corporate-approved message that, in fact, "(t)he origin of the pandemic is an important line of reporting that (her) colleagues are covering aggressively." 

One is only left with the impression that Ms. Mandavalli just revealed that her colleagues at The New York Times are "aggressively" covering an inherently racist line of inquiry on the Covid-19 story, but we'll leave her with her professional struggles for the time being.

Of course, this is also a social media/Big Tech scandal of the highest regard as Facebook has now announced that it will no longer delete posts that questioned whether the virus could have been man-made and leaked (deliberately or not) from the Wuhan lab.

Politico seems to have "buried the lede" here. The real headline should read: "Facebook has been systematically deleting factual posts because they've made the Chinese communists look bad." But why should we be surprised? Facebook systematically deleted factual posts about Hunter Biden because it made the Democrats look bad. Variations on a totalitarian theme, my friend. Same as it ever was. 

This is also a scandal of the scientific community as the origins of this virus would aid in investigating, preventing, and treating this virus. Lives could be saved by knowing everything there is to know about Covid-19, and leading scientists (including those charged with setting American health policy) appear to have abandoned this line of inquiry for political purposes.

^^The radical left wingers in the Democrat Party seem to enjoy seeing other people fight wars. It gives them an excuse to riot and loot. Maybe that is why they weaken our military every chance they get, while advocating diplomacy and appeasement at the same time. Trump was the best foreign policy president since Reagan and the two of them are in a class by themselves among modern era presidents. We have had some very good wartime presidents but it is much better to maintain peace through strength.

Biden is undermining our military using some of the same policies that are threatening to destroy women's sports in this country. This country would be better off if Biden would just hide in his basement as he did during his campaign and refuse to attend any summits with the leaders of any nuclear power. As the saying goes, better to be thought a fool than opening one's mouth and removing all doubt.
