Congratulations to Shawn Hall on his 400th victory as head coach of the Golden Eagles tonight. They beat Ashland 4-0. 

With Jim Matney as the football coach and Tommy McKenzie as the basketball coach at JC. Shawn Hall sometimes doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He has had JC as a consistent contender in the 15th for the past 15 years. He has had some incredible wins over the years. I’ll never forget in 2014 they pulled off the huge upset by beating #1 Tate’s Creek in the 1st round of the state tournament. They then gave St. X a run for their money in round 2. 

Again congratulations to Coach Hall and good luck to the Golden Eagles the rest of the season!

The win in 2014 vs. Tates Creek was amazing..... another memorable win was against Ashland in 2004 at the state tournament.  That win sent us to the state final four for the first and only time in school history.

Here's to 400 more wins!!!
