It was eagerly anticipated news when the Bills provided an update on Kevin Everett[Image: relatedicon.gif] Monday afternoon, following his game halting spine injury on the second half kickoff of Sunday's loss to Denver. But the update only gave a clearer picture as to the severity of what is still a potentially lethal injury, and the steps that were taken to give him the greatest chance for recovery.........

Just seen in on ESPN.com. Thats wonderful news.
That is such great news to hear about Everett! Hope he makes it to a full recovery!
It's hard to determine whether or not he will play again, but the best news is that this man should be able to walk again and live a regular lifestyle. They said the quick emergency surgery and putting 90 degree fahrenheit IV's into his body greatly reduced the amount of swelling, allowing for this miracle to possibly take place. He seemed very positive from the get go, understanding the severity of his injury when he told the doctors to do whatever possible to help him. So far the prayers have been answered but he isn't in the clear just yet.
I was watching the game when this accident occured. I felt so sorry for him!! I guess just seeing the ambulance on the field (which tells you that it's serious) and watching the faces of some of his teammates was enough to make anyone human worry about him! Thank god the doctors knew what to do so quickly and he is making a better than predicted recovery!!
Glad to hear he's doing better.
I just read about him moving his arms and legs too... it's very great news! I hope he can fully recover.
Uplifting news for once. God speed.
