They're being mistreated for the color of their skin. If you think it would be the same if the situation were reversed, I feel bad for you.
Sad. People need to get used to the FACT that people have different color skin, beliefs, or views and need to be treated equal.
Nooses? And we wonder why these young men were upset....maybe they should have just burned a cross and called it a prank too. Come on - it was a blatant HATE CRIME towards the young black men. And now the young black men are being punished for beating another student who was a part of the "incident" - I agree they should not have beat him - but the punishment should fit the crime and the white students got 3 days suspension for their hate crime - then then black students should too....and in case you are wondering I am an educated white woman who can see this for what it is.

I copied this but could not have said it better except that I'm a white man.
It took some pretty sick people to hang those nooses up from the tree...

If the guy who got beat up was one of the ones responsible for that little stunt, you can't help but feel he got what he deserved.
has anyone ever heard of the book "A Class Divided"?
A Class Divided. Yes. I've seen the entire documentary. It is astounding how easily a young childs mind can be poisoned by the power of suggestion.
I'm disgusted by the treatment of the judicial system here. A higher up needs to step in on this one, or it could get very ugly in Jena, Louisianna.
