Yeah, I don't consider them metal. Metal is like As I Lay Dying, Cradle of Filth, Cannibal Corpse, and FATA is sorta metal, more hardcore, but their drummer kicks.
FATA has a few songs that can be considered metal, but I agree with what you said. They are mainly hardcore.
