According to a study by the Norwegian University of Life Sciences a grown Moose contributes 4,630 pounds of CO2 a year, twice the amount of CO2 emitted on a round trip flight across the Atlantic Ocean from Olso to Santiage the capital of Chile.

I USED to know this guy who smoked three packs
a day. He would scour the news looking for
data to reinforce his belief that scientists
and healthcare officials who said that smoking
caused cancer were anti-liberty liars. The
danger of foolish consistency is just this: only
focusing on information that reinforces what
we do or don't want to accept and believe.

That goes both ways. People on both sides of an argument can usually find enough statistics and 'expert' opinions to support their beliefs, whatever they may be.
