December paper shows Thomas Dotson made all state third team defense as a guard for the 2A school outside Pikeville. Schedule shows game with Johnson Central, home and home with Betsy Layne and road game to Mullins. For the junior season had a 5-5 record and senior season 6-4. Tough four team district with Hazard & Whitesburg. I looked for linescores in his junior & senior season to see if he had scoring plays on offense, just not may scores on saturday morning in paper. They used to cover Johns Creek with a decent amount of attention. not as many write-ups as Belfry and the WV schools, but several articles about Johns Creek, Pikeville, and Elkhorn City for sure.
