He posted on Twitter that a new state law requires him to step away from all school involvement for 90 days after retiring from teaching, so he is resigning as head coach.
Not a new law, been that way for a while.

Still think more to it, because Jim McKee at Scott County retired from teaching last year and still coached. Maybe you can still coach but not get paid for 90 days, not sure but this is not new.
I believe he’s retiring from teaching and coaching. If you want to find him in the fall you better get your hiking boots on.
