Game was back and forth the entire game.
2 point game at halftime.
2 point game at the end of the 3rd.
Was tied up with 5 mins left, Wolfe misses a couple of easy shots and hazard goes on a 12-4 run to end the game.
To many turnovers and missed layups for the Lady Wolves tonight in a very big game.
Mullins girl couldn’t be kept out of the lane in the 4th. She was the difference maker for them.
No excuses for Wolfe, they had their chances to win and just didn’t take advantage of them and Hazard did tonight.

It’s a shame that the Wolfe Owsley game and the Wolfe Hazard game had to be played in the 1st couple of rounds.

Wolfe struggled to get over the hump when they had their chances and good teams aren’t going to keep giving you chances and Hazard didn’t. Mullins was the best player on the floor tonight and carried her team when it mattered the most. She probably had 10 in the 4th.
These are 2 of the top teams in the region when they play their game.

Mullins is really good. Had never saw her play before until last night. She could be Hazards golden ticket.

Wolfe did have trouble with the Mullins girl to many easy shots for her Hazard controlled the smith girl pretty good Wolfe played a really good game till the 5 minute mark pretty evenly matched hazard has better ball handlers the Bailey girl stepped up and give Wolfe some good points and some good minutes the game changed when she was taken out in the forth not saying it would have changed the outcome but Wolfe seemed to do better when she was in the game she had 13 points and 4 boards she played her best game of the year if she will keep it up Wolfe will be a strong contender when regions comes around haven’t seen Knott play yet but Wolfe and Hazard are two of the best in the region and can’t count Owsley out

This was a nice win for Hazard. The second and fourth quarters made the difference. Hazard outscored Wolfe 18 to 13 in the second and 12 to 6 in the fourth due to defensive pressure. Wolfe has a tendency to stand with the ball and get trapped. These are things they will have to figure out before district play. Mullins did a nice job making runs to the basket but Wolfe didn't provide any defensive help. I think Hazard needs to have their fourth and fifth players to step up in order for them to win the region.

I agree on the standing trying to figure out what their going to do need to get the ball and go got to get better against pressure defense but they got a lot of games left before region

Congratulations to Lady Bulldogs for their victory over Wolfe County. With all the talent that they have on this team it’s great to see that each one can step back and take the role that is needed. Last night Coach Brown focused on trying to contain Caudill, and the rest of the Bulldogs took care of business. With having multiple weapons on this one team it’s great to see that Coach Caudill has his team been just that a TEAM!
