(9-3) UCF takes on (8-4) the Thundering Herd in a matchup of former giant slayer against most recent giant slayer. Both teams have gone undefeated at the FBS level and won bowl games, in their history, having both can base claiming they should be considered for the national championship, UCF more recently.
