In the loss Tates Creek quarterback and Cornell University commit Luke Duby passed for 314 yards giving him 4685 passing yards on the season. This total ranks as 2nd most ever in Kentucky High School football. His 335 ypg ranks 4th in the record book. He also added 448 yards rushing giving him 5133 yards of total offense for the season. In just his second year as Head Coach, Jon Smith led Tates Creek to the state semifinals for the first time since 1999. Congratulations Tates Creek.
