I donât like this district repeat instead of cross districting. Every single 2a game in the third round was a running clock. If we had cross districting, Murray probably would have beaten McClean. Then Edmonson County probably wouldnât have been at War Memorial. I would much rather see the running clocks in the first 2 rounds instead of 3rd and 4th.

Unfortunately 2A was not the only class with excessive running clocks. I would love to see the KHSAA seed the east and west based on RPI and then reseed during for the state semi-finals. As a high school football fan, I didn't pay much attention to the games tonight due to knowing most would not be competitive. The best 8 teams in each class were not playing tonight and it was not even close.
I would just about guarantee one.
