Big Game for both teams to see who takes 2nd place in the district.

Powell comes into this game 2-6, 2-1 in district. Powell defeated Lewis Co 31-18, Pendleton Co 42-18 and was defeated by Fleming 47-11.

Mason comes into this game 4-4, 2-1 in district. Mason defeated Lewis Co 59-6,
Pendleton Co 50-22 and was defeated by Fleming 29-19.

Powell is coming off a bye week. They have been making changes and have been looking better, IMO. Just don’t know if it’s enough to bring down Mason.

I’ve heard Mason is good. I haven’t seen much film on them. But with Powell being healthy I really don’t think there will be a running clock, especially if they play like they did against Pendleton. I might be wrong but I really don’t see a running clock.

I think this game has the potential to be a shootout. Mason’s athletes will give Powell trouble but Powell’s run game could cause problems for Mason. This game could come down to the turnover battle.
