Sterling Marlin has been replaced by Regan Smith for Ginn Racing #14 Waste Management Chevy. No surprise, the rumors of Marlin being out of a ride have been flying for sometime now. Marlin is the only full-time driver to qualify for every race this season and not score a Top 10 finish.
Meanwhile, fellow Ginn Racing teammate Joe Nemechek will not be in the Allstate (Brickyard) 400 if sponsorship isn't secured. Both Nemechek and Marlin have been told to find new rides, even though they are still under contract with Ginn Racing.
Ginn Racing may be bought out and merged into DEI as well...
