Heard a rumor that Gene Combs resigned from Madison Southern on Friday. Anybody got info on this?
It wouldn't surprise me one bit. He's a good coach but he's been around a lot.
How many schools has he coached at in the past 15 years?

Not sure what has happened at Madison Southern, if anything, but he was in Mt. Sterling last night according to a contingency that was there for the Madison Central-Montgomery County game.
@WBONTVSPORTS tweeted had resigned to take a position closer to home, so maybe that's it?
If that was the real reason wouldn’t he have done that well in advance of the season?
