Breitbart---

Here are eight facts about New York’s new abortion law:

– The “fundamental” right to abortion is enshrined in the New York Constitution. “Every individual who becomes pregnant has the fundamental right to choose to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion, pursuant to this article,” the law states.

– The law allows non-physicians to perform abortions. “A health care practitioner licensed, certified, or authorized under title eight of the education law, acting in his or her lawful scope of practice, may perform an abortion,” the law states.

– The law allows abortion through the third trimester, including up to birth. “Third-trimester abortion will be allowed under the new law when a preborn child is diagnosed with a condition that will cause him or her to die at or shortly after birth,” Live Action reported.

– The law removes protections for babies who survive an abortion procedure. “The new law removes protections for babies born alive after an abortion — meaning they could be left to die after birth — by rescinding a portion of New York’s public health law,” Live Action reported. Late-term abortions, until now, were illegal in the state of New York.

– The law prevents pregnant women whose babies are killed in an attack on the mother from seeking justice and could result in infanticide by repealing the requirement for a second physician to be on hand in case an attempted abortion past 20 weeks yields a live infant.

– The law states that an unborn child cannot be a victim of homicide if he dies while in the womb following an attack on the mother. “‘Person,’ when referring to the victim of a homicide, means a human being who has been born and is alive,” the law states.

– Pro-abortion advocates said the law would protect legal abortion even in the event that the U.S. Supreme Court overturns the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision to make abortion legal — a decision that did no go as far as the New York law. “[The law] not only increases access to abortion across the board, including late-term abortions but also goes beyond Roe, which left some limits in place,” Catholic News Service reported.

– The law is to “prevent the enforcement of laws or regulations that are not in furtherance of a legitimate state interest in protecting a woman’s health that burden abortion access.”

New York’s Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the bill into law.
-------------------------------------------------------

At the conclusion of each vote as the bill traversed it's way through the New York State House and Senate, and finally at Governor Cuomo's bill signing ceremony, choruses of applause could be heard as those in attendance radiated broad smiles and euphoric approval. The absurdity--- Allowing "non-physicians" to perform abortions also places them in the position to supposedly, diagnose life threatening conditions and therefore dispose of or otherwise allow the baby to just lay there and die. Folks, the pretense is over, this is government sanctioned murder. Anyone with a shred of conscience left, should feel a deep foreboding of the coming judgment. But make no mistake, whether Americans feel it or not, judgment is coming...

2 Corinthians 5:11 (KJV)
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Matthew 13:49-50 (KJV)
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Dr. Kermit Gosnell is going to be released from prison to great celebration and a ticker-tape parade, and then run for governor of NY. Meanwhile, Satan and all of Hell are cheering louder than the NY Assembly did when they passed the law.

I love going to NYC, but ever again. It is right up there with Sodom and Gomorrah.
To echo TRT and JP, this is beyond creepy and is evidence of just how evil our country has gone. Just like when gay "marriage" was legalized by the SCOTUS in 2015 and Barack Obama instructed his officials to light the white house in rainbow colors, Andrew Cuomo makes sure the World Trade Center Site is lit up in pink to celebrate the law being passed.

518-474-8390 is the number to Andrew Cuomo's office in NY and I certainly called up there and spoke my mind on the issue. You should too. Both about the law being passed and the decision to light the WTC Site up in celebration. All you have to do when you call in, hit 1 and it takes you to a message recorder. You don't even have to say where you're from. People may be hesitant to call somewhere out of state but when something like this encourages other states to bring this act up and follow suit with Cuomo in carrying out this evil than this IS our business. I encourage you to call and let him know your thoughts.
^^ Thank you for putting that up Wide!! And may I add that it is good to see you post on here again, it was welcomed. Called the number and respectfully did my best to blister the paint off the walls of the Governor's office. I hope everybody who reads your post does the same.

Agreed and your point was insightful. This kind of thing won't stay in New York, Chicago and California though. The evil plague is headed our way.

Great to see you on here WideRight05!!!!!
Thank you guys, it's a joy to be back posting here with you. I'll just say, and having PM'd both of you and Hoot Gibson, it has been a rough patch over the past few months.

We'll keep being active in these situations - unfortunately what Andrew Cuomo pushed has started a chain reaction in other states probably with the fear that Roe v. Wade will be overturned. The next state on this is Rhode Island, a state with overwhelmingly democratic legislature and a democratic governor.

I certainly took the time to e-mail the entire legislature and hope you will do so as well. To make this easier on you here are the e-mails of the Rhode Island legislature.

Looking at the sheer number of state legislators here, is there any wonder why this land is 22 Trillion dollars in debt? And it ain't like Vermont is a big state.

Yeah, that's a lot of people to have (150 in the House) and New Hampshire is even worse with 400. To compare, even California has 80 in the state House.
I never thought I'd see the day that our country would allow a state to justify genocide. There's is simply no justification for an abortion at this stage in life.

New York is beyond dead to me. Ironic how the libs reference the nazi movement when labeling their opponents when in essence they are goose stepping their way to hell signing off on thousands of lives extinguished.

When will responsibility and accountability re-enter the building. Here's an idea....can the legislature be brought up on involuntary manslaughter charges???

Isn't that the truth, certainly they are goose stepping their way to Hell!! The Church must rise up and be counted or if not, they can stay down and be accountable. Because this butchery of the innocents has to be stopped and frankly, all the talk about our great founding notwithstanding, if we lack the courage to stop it and I hate to say it, but America's downfall will be no great loss. We are rapidly coming to the point where I don't see how the Lord can even use us to do His work anymore.
Democrat Governors in States like New York, Rhode Island and Virginia it would seem, have abandoned their use of the high court to legislate their social agendas, and have once again embraced state's sovereignty as the new go-to on matters which clearly violate God's commandments. Governor Andrew Cuomo announced his unmitigated defiance of the Federal Government AND the Supreme Court when he signed the following laws into existence.

Article----
Just days after enshrining in New York law the “right” for mothers to have their unborn children murdered, and in some cases, even up until birth, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has now signed two new bills into law: The Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act ( G E N D A ) adds “gender identity and expression” to existing prohibitions against discrimination in housing and employment, and likewise makes violent crimes or threats against a person on the basis of their “gender identity” a hate crime.

Cuomo told those gathered at the LGBT Community Center in Manhattan that the legislation he has signed in recent days puts forward a “different set of social values than what we see in Washington.”

“They say in Washington, ‘We’re going to appoint Supreme Court justices who can roll back Roe v. Wade, because we want to take us back 47 years ago …’ We say, ‘No. No. You want to take us back, we’re going forward. We’re going to pass a woman’s right to choose and put it into the law,’” he declared. “And I want a constitutional amendment so that no legislature or governor can change it.”

“The Supreme Court says, ‘You can discriminate against transgenders in the military.’ That’s what they said last week. We say today, ‘No, you can’t. You cannot discriminate against people by gender identity, period,’” Cuomo stated, again being met with enthusiastic applause.

The flood gates are open and the evil is pouring into our society. Somehow people seem the think the affect will be such that America will survive, maybe things will even be better. Not so. The addition of gay rights, abortion rights and Socialism, will not make things better. The encroachment of such destructive elements that would have terrified every American even 10 years ago, are now scarcely winked at. Worse, speed at which these evils have begun to overtake our society, are now accelerating exponentially.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 (KJV)

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
I am a simple country old woman, so new ideas are a little more difficult for me to process. That said, I cannot wrap my head around legislation that will fight for murderers, rapist, terrorists, etc by will support murder for an innocent child. Even when convicted by a jury, those that are sentenced to death have years and years to appeal. If the same consideration was given to a helpless child, perhaps they would have time to defend themselves. Abortion is murder plain and simple, IMO. Women have the absolute right to make decisions about their body, but how about making RESPONSILE decisions. Decide not to have indiscriminate unprotected sex. Decide not to use abortion as a birth control method. Decide not to kill a child based on your daily whims.

Agreed. Women make decisions about their bodies quite often in fact. As in the case you mention, that being when they decide to have unprotected sex. It is at that point that they have exercised the freedom the left wants to go on and on about, in making such decisions. It is the ramifications of unprotected sex that they don't want to have to deal with, which of course is an unwanted pregnancy. Or as the Lord puts it, with child.

But not wanting to deal with bad decisions, sin, is what this life is all about. People like to skip around playing fast and loose with life as if it isn't precious. We want to do the things we do without being held responsible, and that is where God tells us through our own consciences and through His Word that we are committing serious error, and there is a coming judgment. Only when faced with one's own mortality, do people usually face up to the true reality of their own life. Not only is life precious, each moment of life is precious. Up until that point, especially in this land of excess, we like to keep such unpleasantries crammed into that closet. There is pleasure in sin for a season.

Life is a gift of unspeakable value and measure. The irony here is that most people refusing to bow before their Creator, waste their own lives in similar fashion to that of the abortionist's slab. How can they value other life when they have such disdain for their own? But legislators who write and pass legislation which takes life from innocent babies, are headed for particular unpleasantness. As are those who knowingly vote to keep such monsters in office. I mean, it isn't rocket science. They campaign openly to push for unfettered abortion as did Hillary Clinton and as does Andrew Cuomo and the people put them into office anyway. It is the people whom must right this matter, and stand up against the slaughter. If not, we can be assured that God is not slack concerning His promises. And the one most terrifying as I have said, is certain judgment.
