Magoffin Co. defeated Sheldon Clark 13-0 in the "play-in" game of the 57th District softball tourney. Dalton Combs had a no-hitter until the last inning (top of 5th) but the # 7 and #8 hitters had back-to-back singles on their final strike, but overall a supherb game by the Lady Hornets. Now they face Lawrence Co. tommorrow (Tue,) at 6pm/ 2nd game on Tue. will be Paintsville vs. Johnson Central the winners of these two games will play on Wed. for the title and they will advance into the Regional Tourney.

Magoffin advances to second round. Can Combs come back and force a strong hitting team to make an upset.?
