To me, the most intriguing games in the state this week are:

Friday Night. St. X vs Trinity. Trinity will most likely be without their star player, David Johnson, who is healing from a strained MCL. St. X has played very well this year. They have not been beaten by a Kentucky team and have beaten Waggener, which is probably a top 5 team in the state.

Saturday Night. Trinity vs Scott County a South Laurel. As stated above, Trinity will mostly likely be without Johnson and Scott County will be without their star, Michael Moreno, who will be out 3-6 weeks with a cracked bone in his foot.
I forgot about the Covington Catholic at Newport game tonight. CovCath has yet to beat a top 20 Kentucky team this year.
Bell County vs Corbin 01-02-19
Clay County vs North Laurel 01-04-19
