Lets figure this one out together guys and gals! It Should be educational and very helpful.

Let's tell each other what we know and reach a consensus. We'll be our own voting block!

I haven't made my decision yet mainly because I've been very busy with work.

So, let's have it. Who's the best ticket?
After doing some research, and there's more to come.... right now I'm going with Galbraith/Wireman. Real Ideas for Real Change.

The latest poll has Beshear in 1st, Lunsford in 2nd and Henry in 3rd
Looks as if Beshear will take this one.

I think Stumbo shot himself in the foot with this Marathon Oil lawsuit 12 days before the election. Has there ever been another politican look more blatant when he's trying to do something in office or more politically motivated? Attacking Fletcher over the state hiring scandal when you know he's not the first person in history of politics to hire someone for political reasons, just the first to get caught in Kentucky because he (a republican) defeated the democrats in the Gov's race. That doesn't excuse what Fletcher did in any means, but it's the whole revenge factor about not being voted most popular in the 3rd grade class that gets me about Stumbo.

And now this lawsuit over price-gouging by Marathon Oil during the Katrina fallout. Why haven't other states filed suit before now? Why Kentucky?

And paring with Lunsford? A guy that was a jerk to union workers and is into big business. I never thought Stumbo would play second fiddle to someone else. Becoming his running mate was a mistake. He should've ran for AG again since the competition in that pool is still weak and continued to make a name for himself across the state in his own merit instead of trying to ride some guy from Louisville's coattails.

How's the view from Stonecrest Mr. Stumbo? You're gonna be seeing it more often when you're out of Frankfort soon.
Never did care much for Greg Stumbo, anyway, so I'm glad his ticket has dropped into second place.

I always thought Patton was great for eastern Kentucky while he held the office, and Stumbo always seemed to be butting heads with him over several issues.
Today's Bluegrass Poll by the CJ says Beshear leads over Lunsford, 27.4% to 21.1%. At this rate, there will be run-off election in June.

Talked to the man in charge of election school for Pike Co. and he talked like there would be.

Me too! Good Luck to Beshear!!!:o
Beshear just announced that Lunsford called him and said they will support them and there will not be a run off.
Beshear is doing better now than what Patton did @ this point in 95' .

He ought to, he got beat by as many votes as he got. About 70,000 against him and he only got 74,000.

Stumbo will probably ask Beshear for a job at the state level if Beshear is elected Governor. Oh wait, giving jobs based on politics is illegal. Thanks Greg for clearing that up with Fletcher and straightening us all out. Big Grin
