Boyd County hit the majority of their free throws , and Russell did not, simple as that.

7of 18 from the free throw line for Russell.

Russell FT shooting is killing them this year. Russell is now hitting 60% from the FT line going 75/125 for the season. Tonight, Russell was leading after 3 quarters 50-46 and was playing a great game tonight on the road at Boyd County but finished 7 of 18 from the FT Line. Russell should be 6-0 this year if they are there making there FT's. They have been playing outstanding ball this season except for there Free Throws. If they are going to win these close games against the good teams in the 16th like Boyd, Ashland, Elliott, etc. they are going to have to knock down there Free Throws especially in the 4th quarter in close games.

I don't think anyone is touching Elliott County in the 16th imo.
