This game shows on the Riehards schedule for Dec. 19th at 5:00 at Pulaski Co. Can any of the Clay fans confirm this is correct?

Unless they have a B or C team, I'd pray for snow if I was Clay. I just don't see their big team going to a small tournament in Somerset, when these teams main purposes are exposure and getting on TV as much as possible.

It appears that clay will be playing the normal varsity team and not the one who has all the d1 players.


Huntington st Joseph prep is 7-1 While the Huntington saint joseph Varsity Squad is 1-3 with the one win coming against Sherman,WV.




I would say that Clay County stands a good shot to beat hsj varsity, who is class 1a in wv.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the khsaa scoreboard is wrong on the schedule. They have been wrong before on scores and schedules.

why yes they have. but they do show the ripley tournament that Augusta and Bracken will be at

khsaa scoreboard shows That is Ripley, Ohio, St Joes WV plays at Ripley,WV on the 21st and home against Ripley,WV on the 22nd.

This game with Clay Co. vs. Huntington St. Joseph Prep is correct (Dec. 19th @5:00pm). It is part of the M&W Shootout. Huntington Prep has a "National" team and a "Regional" team. Clay will face the regional team (thank God).

Not 100% sure if my earlier post is correct after all. They have another squad in addition to the National and Regional. To be honest...we won't know who we play until we show up. lol

I just looked at huntington preps regional teams schedule on their website it shows them playing at sw dec 19th-22 so it will be the regional team

They have a regular high school varsity team to go along with the regional prep team and national prep team.

I feel sorry for the pa announcer trying to pronounce some of those players names.

I think Clay will get a good challenge from HP regional team.
