I'm sure I've left a few off, but wow . . . more than I would've thought. That's what 50+ years of attending games (and living in various parts of the state at different times) gets me, I guess.

Not to many of us on here that can say we played at Lynch...

Hahaha ....gotta get in the wayback machine
The most interesting place I have played would be Canton McKinley Bulldogs Stadium, Canton Ohio , official name Tom Bension Stadium. A close second , was L.A. Memorial Coliseum. A lot more vey interesting but those two stand out.

We won, too, lol...of course, the school and program were on its last legs by then (1977).

Not too many can put Lone Jack on their lists, either—the school consolidated into Bell County just a few years after starting their football program.

Played at Lynch in 1971, it was about 27 degrees and unfortunately they were still pretty good then...
Lone Jack the home of Rodney Woods and they had a kid that was state champ in the 100 yd dash in 1972 and 1973... Wish I could remember his name...
Also played at Hazel Green ( Laurel Co ) didn’t have lights there, played early afternoon...

If memory serves, that Lone Jack sprinter was George Edmonson.
Going to NOT list all the new schools locally (Pike area), but been to all of them. Others outside the area, and OLD ones:

Pikeville (when it was grass)
Mullins High School field
Johns Creek
Vipperman
Wheelwright
Cumberland
Virgie
Elkhorn City
old Phelps field
Henry Clay
Tates Creek
Lafayette
Dunbar
Somerset

Louisville Central
Pleasure Ridge Park
Point Pleasant, WV
Lucasville Valley, OH
Grundy, Va.

Raceland
Fairview
Greenup

These are off the top of my head. I'm sure more will pop up later.

Yes that is correct, thank you... Very impressive for a white kid for Lone Jack to win back to back state titles in the 100...
Most of these you all have listed I've been to, but I think Ashland (Putnam Stadium) is the best one anywhere.

I agree...out of the 100+ stadiums I’ve been to over the years, Putnam has the best atmosphere, and I thought so even before its recent renovation.

Of the others, I really like Manual Stadium’s atmosphere/neighborhood, and Mayfield’s is a great venue, too. Henderson County’s was impressive, but Ihaven’t been there since the late-80’s.

Some that I haven’t visited yet—but want to—are Trinity’s (I’ve toured it but haven’t attended a game there yet), the “Stadium of Champions” in Hopkinsville, and I’ve heard McCracken County’s is very nice.
