I high school it is just like a punt. If receiving team doesn't field the kick, it is dead where it stops rolling. Goes into end zone, touchback.

I was just curious because in the stats it showed 0-7 field goal attempts :HitWall:
Ryle did this years ago when coach Warner was there. They had a kid that could kick the ball about 60 plus yards easy (accuracy was hit or miss) but he could get it to the goal line, which in High school, once the ball cross the goal line it is dead.
Ryle would attempt field goals all the time and it was better than punting.
JC returned one for a TD that was called back
