Bowling Green had won something like 17 games in a roll in the series. They had played earlier in the year and Bowling Green won by 9. Since then though Owensboro had been playing much better. Bowling Green seems to have been struggling a bit since their beatdown by Warren Central, Indiana. So, i dont tginjnit was a huge upset.
