Final
Congrats to Franklin County.
Unbelievable field conditions for both teams and both teams deserved to play this game on a better field. Cards jumped to a 7-0 lead, Franklin County scored two touchdowns to make it 14-7 and Wayne answered just before the half to tie the score 14-14.

Wayne grabbed the lead 21-14 in middle of third and had a couple chances to add to their lead, but didn't and the Flyers made them pay with two touchdowns in the final quarter and hold off a late rally to take a 27-21 win.
Wayne County had 62 plays for 366 yards with 15 first downs and 3 turnovers.
Franklin County used 57 plays for 247 yards with 15 first downs and 2 turnovers.

The Cards were led by sophomore running back Braedon Sloan with 21 carries for 120 yards and a TD, while senior wide receiver Aubrey Weaver grabbed 9 catches for 97 yards and 2 scores.
The Flyers were led by sophomore quarterback Nick Broyles who rushed 19 times for 87 yards with a score and completed 10 of 22 passes for 119 yards and 2 TDs.

Flyers now 10-2 and Cards drop to 8-4, Wayne County's seniors leave with 11 wins as frosh, 11 wins as sophs, 12 wins as juniors and 8 wins as seniors for a school record 42 wins, not bad for 49 years of varsity football as a program.
