Game was 0-0 at the half. Figured the score would be low. And then, Somerset came to life a little on offense.
Hoping to close out next week with a W in Middlesboro and finally get the bye week after.

No surprise here. That defense is good!
I have said for 2 weeks, Somerset is the best âteamâ weâve played all year. Playing them and Portsmouth West back to back was tough but really helped us learn to play Playoff football and get us prepared for the real season.
I think Somerset gets the nod definsively. I think Ashland gets the nod offensively. If Somersets offense was as good as their defense they wouldnât get touched in 2A

I agree with that, no one in the East can hang with them this year. Most likely will be Danville at Somerset in Regional Finals.
