Tates Creek has been decimated by injuries. They were without 4 major starters from last week including their quarterback. In addition they have had 8 season ending injuries to starters and may have lost 2 more last night. Unfortunately 1 occurred on the last play of the game last night when with 15 seconds left on the clock and GRC on the 2-3 yd line they ran a play to score that called for the line to cut block. That play resulted in a meaningless score and a probable season ending knee injury. In my opinion a healthy Tates Creek probably wins the district for the second year but injuries unfortunately are part of football. Prayers for those injured on all teams and hoping the injury bug goes into hibernation for the winter.
