There is NOTHING left to tie UK football to any of the ghosts in our past...….. NOTHING!!!!!!! Six of our last wins against SEC teams have been on their field (seven if you count the 1952 win vs. Texas A&M). We have beat the other six SEC teams at Commonwealth Stadium/Kroger Field.

This list is just some of the "ghosts" UK has gotten rid of since the 2007 season.
- The 26 game loosing streak to Tennessee (2011).
- The 31 game loosing streak to Florida (2018).
- Beating the #1 ranked team @ home (2007 LSU).
- Beating the future National champions (2007 LSU).
- Beating a Heisman trophy winner (2016, Lamar Jackson; Louisville).
- Back-to-Back winning seasons (2016 & 2017).
- Back-to-Back bowl games (2016 & 2017).
- Improved coaching staff.
- Depth & Quality players at every position on the roster.
- Newly remodeled & renovated stadium.
- State-of-the-art football training facility.

Here's what is left for UK football to conquer.... laugh if you want or say these goals will never happen, but now, we can focus on finally getting to build our program.

Undefeated season.
Be ranked #1 in the polls.
Have a Hesiman Trophy winner.
Win the SEC East.
Win the SEC Championship.
Make the College Football Playoff.
Win the CFB National Championship.



YES, UK football can finally move on to actually playing towards post-season championships. Not worrying about & not hearing about all of the Streaks that plagued our program for far too long.
