From what I've read/been told West Carter probably should have ran the clock in this one. East didn't get a first down the entire first half but West had some stupid turnovers and still struggled in the red zone (like they did against Raceland and Powell). That'll happen with a team as young as they are.
East will have to learn from this and move on. They played some pretty bad teams before this game which led to the 3-0 but they could still make a season out of this. They have a tough district but whether they have a good season or not will be determined on if they beat Rowan County to make the playoffs.
Don't see the results changing anytime soon in this rivalry. West doesn't play many seniors and has a few juniors that do. East was heavy in juniors and seniors. Also, Cline is only a sophomore. A lot of talented freshman and sophomores that start or contributed.
