It was an ugly game for Valley all around. Gave up 4 or 5 unearned runs in the first and from there only gave up 3. Valley ran themselves out of 4 or 5 runs on the bases. The final was 8 to 0 not 9 to 0 as reported on KHSAA. Harmon pitched a good game for Pikeville as did Justin Tackett for Valley. Pikeville only had 5 or 6 hits and 2 earned runs. Congratulations to Pikeville.

I thought it was 8-0 also. I think because the scoreboard at Valley's field had some bulbs not working made it look like a 9 instead of an 8.
